Salvation is the redemption plan set by GOD the Father to win back HIS children to HIS original plan for their eternal enjoyment. It is the hope of being saved from eternal punishment through Christ's death on the cross of Calvary. The plan came up due to the devil’s sinful action which led to the fall of Adam and Eve, hence their expulsion from the Garden of Eden. Salvation implies deliverance from condemnation. It requires a sacrifice and that sacrifice by GOD is Jesus Christ, HIS only begotten son. In line with the salvation plan, the birth of Jesus Christ was prophesied about four hundred years before His birth.
Jesus Christ is the central figure of Christianity. The name Jesus is derived from a Greek rendering of the Hebrew name Joshua, or in full Yehoshuah (Yahweh is deliverance). The title Christ is derived from the Greek christos, a translation of the Hebrew mashiakh (anointed one), or Messiah. “Christ” was used by Jesus' early followers, who regarded him as the promised deliverer and later became part of Jesus' proper name by the church, which regards him as the redeemer of all humanity. Simply put, the name Jesus means Saviour while Christ means Anointed One. Saviour means God, Jesus Christ and to be anointed means to be consecrated. Jesus Christ ensures the undefiled salvation of every repentant and born again soul. Every believer in the Lord Jesus is made a king and a priest unto GOD. An everlasting dominion has been given to the Lord Jesus because He came to fulfil the law of GOD. Please note and always remember that Jesus Christ will never expire or become outdated for He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He never changes. What He says, He says unto all; watch out. Whoever that does not believe and accept Jesus shall die sins. Anyone who believes Jesus will do what He did and even do greater works. But without Jesus, you can do nothing. We are all in inheritance GOD through Christ, HIS image and in whom we have redemption and forgiveness.
Jesus Christ has given us an understanding to know that He is the truth and light. He is the solution to all problems, worries, and challenges facing man. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is a prophet with GOD’s words, hearken unto Him. At the mention of His name, all powers and every knee bow. He is also the author and finisher of our faith. He is the destroyer of the devil’s works. Follow Jesus now! He will give you rest. Deny yourself now, take up your cross and follow Him. He will receive you with His open arms because He does not reject whosoever comes to Him. Do not follow philosophy or legalism, but Jesus Christ the answer. Every soul that will not hear Christ and accept Him shall be destroyed. Do everything possible to meet Jesus and accept Him; do not be discouraged. The enemies of Jesus Christ are those who love and live by worldly standards and rules.
Jesus Christ died by crucifixion, and He resurrected on the third day. At Bethany Jesus was seen to ascend into the heavens by his disciples. The ascension occurred forty days after Jesus' resurrection. Jesus Christ is coming back again very soon. Get ready, repent now and be patient. He will come to execute judgement upon everyone. To go with Him at His second coming, confess Him before men, preach and teach the gospel to all nations. So, always be ready because Jesus Christ is coming at an hour no one expects. For more about Jesus Christ, read the Holy Bible, especially the Gospels.
