WHAT A BLOODY CHRISTMAS

What happened in Madalla, Niger State near Abuja on Christmas day (25th December, 2011) was a sheer wickedness against innocent people.  It is a great direct offence against GOD.  It is an unlawful killing of innocent citizens and wanton destruction of properties.  The incident is also a form of persecution against GOD’S people.  Those who hate GOD’S people shall be ashamed.  GOD commands that nobody should murder.  The devil is the father of all murders.  Enough is enough!  Nobody can fight for GOD.  What happened that day deserves a vengeance but GOD commands HIS children that vengeance belongs to HIM and HE will pay back in due time, if not, nobody or group can stand GOD’S people or defeat them.  Yes, that is the truth.

QUOTES - Idols/Worship/Images

And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
Daniel 3:5-6

IDOLATRY

T
he act of worshipping of a material image that is held to be the domicile of a superhuman personality is referred to as idolatry. The concept of idolatry originated in the disagreement between the three great monotheistic religions – Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, and the polytheistic religions they encountered along their way. It was first expressed during the conflict of ancient Hebrew monotheism with the pagan cults of surrounding peoples.  Idolatry is synonymous with graven images.

Our great GOD has commanded HIS children to have no other gods before Him.  No man should also make unto himself any graven image or any likeness of anything at all that is in heaven or in the earth beneath, or in the water under the earth.  Many people in the world over still practice idolatry by worshipping, adoring, offering, and sacrificing to them.  Sacrifice of food, animals, and some even humans.  GOD has commanded that no one should even bow down to them or serve them.  Every human all over the world is to do away with all forms of idolatry, especially those things that stop you from fellowship with GOD so as to gain HIS attention and avoid pollution.  Idolatry brings about GOD’s anger.  Avoid it at all costs.  One good example and proof of this is the true story of the golden calf recorded in the Holy Bible.

Do away with all abominations like witchery, horoscope, spiritism, tattoos/marks, etc.  Destroy all evil, profane pictures and molten images.  Destroy them from their high places. Neither be devoted to anyone or anything apart from GOD nor set up anything that the LORD God hates.  Put away all strange gods and serve the LORD God only.  No idol at all can stand GOD’s power and presence.  Sorrow and affliction shall go to them that go down to other gods and they shall all perish.  Those who trust in idols and boast of them shall be turned back, greatly ashamed and confused.  Idolaters shall burn and perish in eternal hell fire.  Loyalty to GOD brings about promotion and success.  You cannot serve GOD and mammon together.

Flee from idolatry. Come out from them separate, the LORD will receive you.  Also, beware of realities, principles, theories and tradition or legalism.  Don’t be deceived, GOD is waiting for you.

SATAN THE NO. 1 LOSER

T
his world at this very stage is not complete without Satan, the devil.  He is the number one looser but keeps pretending that he has won a battle.  The vagabond is the cause of all the world’s predicaments right from the initial stage when he tempted Eve and caused both Adam and Eve to fall for sin, leading to their been chased out of the fully loaded and beautiful garden of Eden.  Satan is a fallen angel named Lucifer, the supreme spirit of evil, who for immeasurable time has ruled over a kingdom of evil spirits and is in constant opposition to God.  Satan (devil) is already condemned and destined for eternal hell of fire and brimstone.  Whoever does not receive Christ now and be born again will also join Satan in hell.  You and I will not be there in Jesus’ Name.

It is a common temptation of Satan to make us give up the reading of the Word and prayer when our enjoyment is gone; as if it were of no use to read the Scriptures when we do not enjoy them, and as if it were no use to pray when we have no spirit of prayer.
George Muller

But who prays for Satan? Who, in eighteen centuries, has had the common humanity to pray for the one sinner that needed it most?
Mark Twain

For Satan always finds some mischief still for idle hands to do.
Isaac Watts

I do not fear Satan half so much as I fear those who fear him.
Saint Teresa of Avila

Because pornography is a tool of Satan that exploits and distorts our God-given sexuality, women - especially Christian women - need to understand the increasing threat of online pornography.

JESUS CHRIST

Salvation is the redemption plan set by GOD the Father to win back HIS children to HIS original plan for their eternal enjoyment.  It is the hope of being saved from eternal punishment through Christ's death on the cross of Calvary.  The plan came up due to the devil’s sinful action which led to the fall of Adam and Eve, hence their expulsion from the Garden of Eden.  Salvation implies deliverance from condemnation.  It requires a sacrifice and that sacrifice by GOD is Jesus Christ, HIS only begotten son.  In line with the salvation plan, the birth of Jesus Christ was prophesied about four hundred years before His birth.

DEFINITE PROMISES

A promise is a declaration that binds the person who makes it to follow through with a certain act. Inability to keep a promise can have principled consequences.  Our great and mighty GOD will never promise without keeping or fulfilling it.  Numbers 23:19; 32:1-12.  HE is not like man that HE should lie.  One good example is how the LORD God delivered the Israelites out of the hand of the Egyptians (their oppressors), and to bring them up out unto a good land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites. Exodus 3:8

VACANCY

No man can alone serve himself with all his needs.  Everyone needs a helping hand. This gives rise to vacancy.  The word vacancy is synonymous with offices or organisations seeing workers.  Nowadays, vacancy is scarce, especially in Nigeria, leading to higher unemployment rate.  But those who serve the LORD God or live a righteous life do not lack any good thing they need.

DRESS CODE

A dress is a piece of clothing worn to cover and protect the body.  Clothes are meant to provide protection against unfavourable weather. Clothes are also put on to match a particular occasion or work schedule.  As the saying goes that your dress is your first address.  It is the manner in which you dress that you will be address, classified or called, especially by strangers.  For example, if an army general dresses like a medical doctor or a religious priest, he would certainly be addressed as a doctor or a priest by strangers.  If anyone dresses like a harlot, he would be address as such.
