All the time they have added to the pump price of petrol, the government has always promised to do many good things and further develop the nation but the government has never fulfilled its promises. Now, the current government has reduced the oil subsidy and also promised to do mouth-watering things and make Nigeria a developed nation. When are we going to develop? Is it now that even the West African Examination Council had errors in results or we face security challenge by terrorists? The called-off protest is nothing compared to other past protests embarked upon. Why didn’t he even announce the removal while the students on campus were in session?
Let faithful Nigerians reject this slow massacre by ‘Oil-luck Jona-tank’ and the cabals now! If not, sooner or later the current government or another one will decide to increase the pump price to N200 with the same empty photocopy promises. I wonder what is good about this luck. If Nigerians decide to melt down to this hot oil being heated by ‘Good-oil Jona-tank’, it will be unfair for salary earners and the unemployed population. Every other business owners and traders has already adjusted prices accordingly. Items and services provided now cost almost double of the former rates. For example, sachet water now costs N10. Pencil that used to cost N10 now costs N15 with some at less quality. Good biros now cost N30 each or even N40 and some of them are now of a lesser quality in circulation.
Only God can save Nigeria that is if all Nigerians allow Him to take charge. Nothing is good except righteousness in attitude. So let us have a re-think, especially those in power/authority and make Nigeria a better place. No matter what, God shall supply all the need of the righteous according to His riches in glory by Jesus Christ. Philippians 4:19.
Happy New Year and Happy Survival to all.
